Yesterday, Apple announced that 30-year company veteran Deirdre O’Brien has been named senior vice president of Retail + People at Apple, a newly created role that merges employee relations responsibilities with retail experience management. Angela Ahrendts, the company’s current senior vice president of Retail, will depart in April after five years at Apple. News of Ahrendts’ departure came as a surprise to the industry, leading Apple watchers and enthusiasts to speculate on the terms of her departure and Apple’s retail health....

Apple’s support communities and forums like Reddit were flooded with reports from users who claimed that the MacBook Pro has been returning a battery life of only 3-6 hours as opposed to the rated 13 hours. Apple has announced that macOS Sierra will be released to customers on September 20, as part of its media event currently going on. A real life prince created the ultimate marriage proposal via a clever reworking of an iconic scene from the Disney classic film, Sleeping Beauty. Lee Loechler cleverly re-animated the scene where Prince Phillip kisses Princess Aurora to make it look like he was the prince waking up his girlfriend with true love’s kiss and a real life engagement ring. Sleeping Beauty was released in 1959 during the golden era of Disney movies....
